plans are created defining the seasonal merchandising
story. Merchandise plans are created using Product Presenter
to clearly communicate the brand, product story to retail
that is appropriate to the customer base.
This process supports cross-selling divisions, categories
and product flow in order to sell complete collections
not just SKUs . Visual Merchandising allows the business
to validate against the line plan identify earlier any
gaps line or cutting excess SKUs improving SKU profitability.
Merchandise plans are used by sales reps. as a starting
point for creating a customer specific seasonal account
plan. This allows the sales rep. the ability to leverage
the product and merchandising story that is relevant
to each customer ensuring the proper products get sold
into the right channels, providing differentiation at
retail.
